Only an hour drive from San Jose in the Central Volcanic Mountain Range, the Rain Forest Aerial Tram is an unique Eco-Tourism and research facility. Here we will take you on a 90 minute long excursion through the rain forest canopy where a tour guide will explain about the hanging gardens of plants and animals hidden at the tops of tall tropical trees. Home of two thirds of all rain forest species, the site next to the northern border of Braulio Carrillo National Park , possesses one of the richest canopy communities in the world.

Day 1: Transfer from Juan Santa Maria International Airport . You will be transported to the Kekoldi Garden Hotel , located in the historic Barrio Amón in San José .
Day 2: Rise and shine, bright and early at 6:15 a.m. , the excitement begins with The Highlight Tour which is actually four tours in one. See volcanoes, a cloud forest, jungles, the Costa Rican countryside, the La Paz Waterfall, and a butterfly farm; partake in a jungle river safari over the Sarapiqui River and much more. Breakfast and lunch are included. Tour duration is ten hours.
Day 3: A shuttle bus will pick you up at 9:00 a.m. and transport you to the Villa Roca Hotel or if you choose the package "with air" transport, you will be brought to the airport for the twenty minute flight to Quepos and then transported to the hotel. |

Day 4: Enjoy the thrilling half-day adventure of Savegre White Water Rafting in the morning. Leave at 7 a.m. Travel in an open, all-terrain, Tonka bus through jungles and plantations. And then it's cowabunga time in the river! Later in the day, enjoy more relaxing free time or activates of your choice.
Day 5: Free day for you to perhaps visit the world famous Manuel Antonio National Park . Only a short walk away, this park is just south of Quepos on the Pacific Coast . There are a number of dolphins and, at times, migrating whales. Manuel Antonio contains a charming combination of rain forest, beaches and coral reefs. These beaches are the most beautiful in the country, lined with lush forest, and the snorkeling is excellent too. The forest is home for sloth, iguanas, the rare and adorable squirrel monkeys and millions of colorful little crabs. And the trail that winds around Punta Catedral affords some spectacular views.
OR you may chose to visit the playita clothing-optional gay beach, secluded and nestled, complete with a waterfall.
Day 6: Take to the trees with the Canopy Tour ! Leave at 6:45 a.m. for a half day of unforgettable adventure. Traverse from tree to tree, platform to platform, sailing through the tropical rainforest canopy, assisted by expert guides. Later in the day, enjoy more relaxing free time or activities of your choice. (If the Canopy Tour is not your cup of tea, inquire about substituting our Horseback Riding tour through the rain forest to a beautiful waterfall.)
